Robotics Fun

Pictured to the left is our robotics team at the FIRST tournament last year. This picture was taken after the student were awarded the Judges Award and became the first middle school to ever win an award at the Lone Star Regional. FIRST is an intensely difficult tournament and requires the highest engineering skills. Our kids were able to impress the judges with their fully functioning robot made of recycled parts. Congratulations Hogg kids, we are proud of you!

Hogg robotics has a rich history. Hogg began it's robotics program in 2001 and has continued to succeed in offering kids the top engineering education program among middle schools. Hogg began hosting FLL in 2003, and was the birthplace of FLL in South Texas. Hogg is also the birthplace of EARLY, an elementary tournament it began hosting in 2003 and continues to host this tournament today. Close to 1,800 students have attended the Hogg robotics program, and many of them have continued to pursue engineering in high school. We look forward to continue making kids succeed and building a richer history.
